Our low oleic bath bar is made with a low oleic formula of natural premier blended oils. Although not intended as a treatment this formula was created with two facts in mind. First Oleic fatty acids tend to be on the high side of the comedogenic index which means they are likely to clog your pores. And secondly, people with oily skin tend to produce Oleic acids excessively on their own naturally. In both cases adding even more of this fatty acid to the skin make no sense at all. This is a cold-processed natural soap. Combining lye and oils to trace then sculping by hand, into wooden molds and left to harden overnight. The following day we cut the loaves of fresh soap and allowed to rack cure over time before packaging. Due to the nature of handmade soaps, the actual design and colors may vary from bar to bar.
