If you have always thought growing a healthy beard was just a matter of letting it grow, I have some advice. While you may get away with this when young, you will start needing oils, balms, and butter as you mature. These help to condition and moisturize the hair of your beard and the skin beneath.
Have ever dealt with the itch of growing a beard or flakes of what is referred to as “Beardruff”? If so then you needed to moisturize the skin beneath a beard. Of course, these products benefit the styling of a beard as well. Softening, and controlling fly-out whiskers that make some beards look scraggly and unkempt.
Now not every beard will require all three. But at the least, you should be using a quality oil at all phases of your beard.
